The candidate will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure solutions meet high safety and quality standards, leveraging advanced CAD skills and technical leadership.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in interconnect or electronics.
• Advanced experience in CAD 3D (Creo, SolidWorks).
• Working knowledge of metal and plastics materials and DFM.

Responsabilidades

• Perform 3D model and controlled drawings using CAD tools.

DESCRIPCIÓN

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our engineering team with solid experience in mechanical design and tooling development for new product lines from the concept to final validation with the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with deep experience in design models, material decisions, and innovation.

RESPONSABILIDADES DEL PUESTO

1. Design and develop solutions for manufacturing applications.

2. Perform 3D model and controlled drawings using CAD tools

3. Collaborate with NPI, Automation and quality team for design release.

4. Participate in technical reviews with customers and support during the development.

5. Perform tolerance analysis, materials and manufacturing process.

6. Document specifications, technical reports and BOM’s.

7. Lead validation activities, mechanical test and failure analysis.

PERFIL DEL PUESTO

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Masters preferred.

2. 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in interconnect or electronics.

3. Advanced experience in CAD 3D (Creo, SolidWorks). Simulation Knowledge (ANSYS, HFSS, CST) is a plus.

4. Working knowledge of metal and plastics materials and DFM.

5. Excellent communication, technical leadership and teamwork.

6. Experience working in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed organization.

7. English conversational.

8. VISA Required.
