About the role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on maintaining and improving the quality of our Salesforce data. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing our data quality and data governance strategies within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will also be involved in data migration initiative s from various third-party systems into Salesforce.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical background . They will have hands-on experience working directly with Salesforce data, demonstrating a deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, data quality tools, and data governance principles. Furthermore, they will have experience collaborating with Sales and Finance teams on major sales analytics and quote to cash transformation initiatives, showcasing their ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions. A proven track record of troubleshooting data issues within Salesforce, coupled with a solid grasp of Salesforce conf iguration and administration . Experience with data warehous e is highly desirable .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) to understand their data needs and ensure data alignment.
Participate in data migration projects from third-party systems to Salesforce, ensuring data integrity throughout the process.
Implement and monitor data quality standards within Salesforce.
Execute data governance policies and procedures related to Salesforce data.
Perform data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Ana lyse Sa lesforce data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain documentation related to data quality rules, data governance policies, and data migration procedures.
Contribute to the development of dashboards and reports to monitor data quality metrics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics).
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Salesforce data.
Experience with Quote to Cash business processes and data flows.
Experience with Sales Cloud and CPQ.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and best practices.
Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
Experience with data governance principles and practices.
Proficiency in data analysis and SQL.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with Sales and Finance teams on major business transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues with knowledge of Salesforce configurations and custom codes.
Highly Desirable
Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Redshift, BigQuery , or Snowflake.

Meet with Sales, Finance, and Customer Success data owners to understand their priorities and pain points.
Access and explore core systems: Salesforce and data warehouse .

Identify 3-5 "quick win" data quality issues that can be addressed in the first 60 days .
60-Day Plan ( Assessment and Actions )
Prioritize data quality issues based on business impact and feasibility.
Implement "quick win" data cleansing and enrichment activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data quality rules and acceptance criteria.
Begin developing basic SQL queries to analyse data and monitor data quality metrics.
Basic SQL queries for data analysis and monitoring.
Perform detailed data profiling on key Salesforce objects to quantify data quality issues
90 Day Plan ( Execution on Roadmap )
Establish data governance policies and procedures related to Salesforce with business leaders .
Work with cross-functional teams to improve data alignment and consistency across systems.
Document data transformation process in Salesforce and Data Warehouse.
Implement automated data quality checks using Salesforce validation rules, flows, or data quality tools.
Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and reduce manual effort.
Begin working on data migration tasks from third-party systems, focusing on data quality and integrity.
180 Days:
Participate in major business transformation initiatives involving Sales and Finance, providing data expertise and support.
Contribute to the development of dashboards and reports to monitor key sales and finance metrics and track business performance.
Take on more complex data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to business operations.
Proactively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce data to drive business insights and improve decision-making.
Demonstrate i mprovement in data quality scores for key Salesforce objects
Demonstrate r eduction in data-related errors and incidents
