Formación

• Experiencia en administración de aduanas y comercio internacional.
• Capacidad para seguir procedimientos internos y validar estados de materiales.
• Administración de seguridad de la cadena de suministro y archivos de comercio exterior.

Responsabilidades

• Asegura el cumplimiento legal y proporciona administración de importación/exportación.
• Coordina actividades logísticas de envío con clientes y proveedores.
• Revisa contratos para cláusulas requeridas y omisiones.

Description

El puesto de Sr. Customs Specialist 2 implica proporcionar orientación en materia de aduanas y comercio internacional, coordinar el cumplimiento con las normas de importación y exportación, aranceles, clasificación e interpretación de directrices reglamentarias. También colabora con el área de gestión de productos y el servicio de atención al cliente para resolver problemas en la cadena de suministro, autorizando envíos entrantes y salientes mediante los programas o sistemas apropiados, y coordinando las actividades.

Responsibilities

Ensures legal compliance and provides import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations, including appropriate licensing for shipments. Reviews contracts for required clauses and identifies omissions. Interfaces with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, customs officers, and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment. Selects carrier/forwarder for shipment of products and prepares documents for freight forwarders. See also, Transportation focus if responsible for domestic traffic activity.

Required Experience and Skills

Follow-up of internal procedures to validate status on materials currently in Mexico that need to be exported and decision-making based on the information found.

Administration of supply chain security certification (OEA/CTPAT).

Administration of digital and physical foreign trade files.

Create import invoices on A24 systems for CAPEX operation and coordinate the import process.

Support coordinating general administration activities related to foreign trade operations.

Provide support to the administrator of Annex 24, to identify information that needs to be modified.

Provide support to special projects such as reconstruction of balances.
