A fast-growing personal care company with a top-selling product in retail and eCommerce is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Corporate Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations of the company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full range of accounting tasks—from data entry to month-end close—and who thrives in a small, collaborative team environment. You will be the primary accounting resource, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations.

What You'll Do

• Handle daily accounting activities, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform account reconciliations as part of the month-end close.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in the accounting system (NetSuite or similar).
• Assist with budget tracking and cash flow monitoring.
• Coordinate monthly AR adjustments with the AR manager.
• Prepare documentation for external audits as needed.
• Complete sales and employee tax filings through state portals.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, support system updates, or automation efforts.

What You Need

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP/accounting system is preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Perks

• The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.

• Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - EST.
