The Account Manager uses recognized subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide external and internal consultations, help develop and maintain product messaging, customer support, and training, and drive cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning and customer negotiations, consult prospective users on product capabilities, and provide input for product development.

Responsibilities include generating and finding new sales opportunities to achieve and surpass sales AOP, developing strategies to penetrate new markets, and recruiting new customers. You will manage and grow business with current direct clients, integrators, and distributors, actively promote the company brand in the Commercial Security Business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop sales strategies to achieve and exceed AOP
  2. Expand customer base and maintain relationships
  3. Represent the company to new and existing customers
  4. Specify and evaluate customer needs to close sales and ensure satisfaction
  5. Provide portfolio presentations and support
  6. Engage with Distributors, HIS partners, and end-users to create and close opportunities
  7. Develop and cultivate relationships with Electronic Security Dealers, Distributors, and partners, supporting strategic accounts outside the territory
  8. Meet revenue and profitability targets
  9. Create and execute business plans for each account, conduct reviews, and monitor performance
  10. Work with stakeholders to adopt new products and initiatives
  11. Use market data to recommend opportunities for expansion or rationalization of ESDs
  12. Build relationships with engineers, authorities, and end-users
  13. Provide market feedback to influence product development
  14. Negotiate pricing and contractual terms
  15. Represent Honeywell at industry events and meetings
  16. Participate in sales calls, support technical sales, and assist in closing large opportunities
  17. Review pipeline data, monitor trends, and coordinate with zone managers
  18. Forecast demand to supply chain, make adjustments, and communicate needs
  19. Engage with product and engineering teams to pass on industry insights and feedback
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics, IT, or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience with productivity software (Google, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in CCTV, surveillance, access control, or safety industries
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Knowledge of Honeywell and competitor products
  • Technical proposal writing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of industry regulations
  • Ability to influence in a matrix environment
  • Effective communication across cultures and languages
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
