Formación

• 10+ years of experience in automotive development.
• Knowledge of interior & exterior trim.
• Fluent in English; German A2 is desirable.

Description

• Lead and coordinate complex projects with clients.
• Develop and build parametric 3D data autonomously according to construction standards and propose new ways to increase construction efficiency with the level of quality required by other EDAG offices and our clients.
• Develop concept sections according to construction guidelines.
• Propose complex engineering solutions according to technology (plastics or sheet metal).
• Create 2D drawings and apply knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, injection molding, SMC, thermoforming.
• Train team members with less experience, coordinate and review their work.
• Communicate clearly with clients, presenting problems, proposals, and possible solutions with associated advantages and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in the automotive development area (must have).
• Knowledge in interior & exterior trim (must have).
• Advanced knowledge in Benchmarking, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T, and materials.
• Experience with plastic and metal parts.
• International experience is desirable.
• Experience in the development phase from concept until tooling kick-off.
• Fluent in English.
• German A2 (desirable).
• 1-year contract.
