ICU Medical is seeking a Senior Buyer, Global Procurement (Indirect) to support purchasing activities across company locations. You will develop requirements with internal customers, solicit bids, analyze proposals, and place requisitions and orders.

You will collaborate with Global Procurement Commodity Managers, drive cost savings, supplier onboarding, and reporting. A Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of buying/finance experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Minimum 7 years of Purchasing or Finance experience.
• Experience with purchasing system required; Oracle purchasing system or equivalent preferred.
• Oracle BI experience a plus.
• Active and current compliance with credentialing requirements to perform the essential function at customer locations.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge and proficiency with Oracle iProcurement or equivalent.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Work with internal customers to develop purchasing requirements.
• Facilitate training of internal customers on Oracle indirect purchasing system.
• Assist departments with creation of purchase requisitions and orders.
• Assist Requesters to clarify or complete information; determine method to process requisition based on dollar amount, need date, existing open contracts, and/or competitive bidding.
• Develop supplier RFI and RFP, ensure timely response, analyze and report results and recommendations.
• Reconcile supplier invoice discrepancies and returns (RTVs).
• Track and report cost savings.
• Work on special assignments as they arise.
• Support purchasing processes as needed (Vendor on boarding, reporting).

The Senior Buyer, Global Procurement (Indirect) directly supports purchasing activities at all Company locations as needed. Responsibilities include working with internal customers to develop purchasing requirements, soliciting bids, analyzing bids, placing purchasing requisitions and orders. This position also works closely with the Global Procurement Commodity Managers and their assigned areas of responsibility.

• Work with internal customers to develop purchasing requirements.
