Una empresa en expansión busca un comprador en MRO con más de 7 años de experiencia, preferiblemente en el sector aeroespacial. El puesto implica gestionar relaciones con proveedores, coordinar contratos y optimizar los costos y el rendimiento del inventario. Se requiere certificado Green Belt, habilidades analíticas robustas y capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente.

Formación

• Al menos 7 años de experiencia como comprador en MRO, preferiblemente en la industria aeroespacial.
• Certificación Green Belt, preferiblemente APICS.
• Excelentes habilidades organizativas y de comunicación.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar proveedores, gestionar inventario y analizar datos para mejorar la planificación.
• Coordinar la preparación y ejecución de contratos, realizar análisis de precios.
• Colaborar con operaciones de la cadena de suministro y negociar precios con proveedores.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with suppliers, manage inventory, and analyze data to improve planning and execution.
• Lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams to consolidate vendor base and leverage total corporate spend.
• Highlight achievements in your work experience that demonstrate your ability to positively impact inventory goals, cost savings, and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate contract preparation and execution, conduct price analysis, and evaluate contracts for large purchase agreements in accordance with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with supply chain operations, financial analysis, and manufacturing departments to enhance planning, ensure on-time delivery, and manage vendor performance.
• Conduct sourcing activities, negotiate prices, and work with stakeholders on vendor selection and contract management.
• Develop strategic contracts with suppliers, ensuring full compliance with requirements.
• Form strategic partnerships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms to support business objectives.
• Implement JIT material availability, improve inventory turns, and optimize floor space utilization to increase productivity.
• Participate in supplier evaluation processes for selection and development according to company guidelines.
• Reduce costs through strategic negotiations, product improvements, and labor savings, aiming for annual cost reductions without compromising quality or delivery.
• Exceed annual cost reduction goals by leveraging cost-effective procurement and vendor negotiations.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience as a Buyer in MRO, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
• Green Belt certification.
• Problem-solving skills.
• APICS certification (preferred).
• College degree in Business or Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to take direction, and execute with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Residence in Mexicali.
• Bilingual proficiency.
