Position Overview
Insulet is building an exciting greenfield business services organization, with the major hub in Guadalajara . We are implementing a full range of services in Finance, and are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Business Process Specialist , with a strong background in service operations and consulting . The role will work as part of our Business Transformation team, support ing initiatives across the Finance function . The role will drive the continuous improvement agenda for live services by leveraging data, operational problems, functional systems , and process excellence methodologies . The person will work alongside the relevant operational team s to optimize performance, enhance automation, and enable scalable, efficient operations . The role will work with delivery teams, key stakeholders, and functional SME’s . This role requires hands-on experience of accounts payable , order to cash , and other operational finance processes . It will require the person to use data analysis tools and have a proven ability to support and lead corporate projects in a consulting capacity .
Responsibilities
Process Excellence
Analyze issues, problems and escalations , and identify operational fixes and prevention strategies.
Drive root cause analyses .
Document and assess processes, identifying inefficiencies and gaps.
Design and implement to-be process models aligned with best practices and business goals with strong focus on GBS operating model and functional transformation (Finance, Procurement, IT, etc.)
Continuous Improvement
Support ideation, assessment, and implementation of CI initiatives.
Collaborate in change request evaluations and solution design .
Lead p rioritiz ation improvement opportunities based on impact and feasibility.
Track and and facillitate deployment of the CI pipeline and benefits realization.
Lead process change implementations and participate in continuous improvement calls.
Data & Performance Analytics
Gather and analyze process data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and anomalies.
Suppor t the design , d evelop ment and monitoring of KPIs / dashboards to as s ess process performance.
Support process mining or automation initiatives with relevant datasets.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with service delivery leade r s, technology, and functional teams to implement improvements.
Facilitate interventions, workshops or interviews to gather insights from SMEs and end users.
Support change management and training as part of CI rollouts.
Service assurance
Collaborate with delivery teams to m aintain up-to-date process documentation .
Ensure process compliance and crossreference with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Engage in corporate project activities including unit testing, UAT execution, and reporting.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in transformational projects in a GBS environment .
Proven experience working in Management consulting, Operations consulting , Operational Delivery of in-scope finance services .
Proficiency in Data analysis tool s ( e.g., Power BI, SQL, and Excel ) .
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and/or Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
Familiarity with analysis tools such as Python, R, PowerBI , Tableau is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Exposure to RPA, process mining tools (e.g., Celonis ), or business process management systems.
Experience in shared services or GBS environments.
