Baxter Healthcare in Tijuana, MX is seeking a Production Planning Analyst to balance and optimize the supply plan to meet demand. You will contribute to defining and implementing planning processes, support MRP/DRP, and drive improvements across the supply chain.

The role requires 3+ years in supply chain planning, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with multiple functions and external partners.

• B.A./B.S. in Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
• End-to-end supply chain experience with production planning, supply chain planning, or logistics.
• Minimum 3+ years in supply chain planning.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Data gathering and quantitative/qualitative analysis linked to KPIs.
• Professional communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with multiple levels and functions, plus external partners.
• Very organized with strong attention to detail.

Your role at Baxter:

The Analyst, Production Planning is responsible for balancing and optimizing supply planning to meet demand, provides input to define and implement supply planning process, determining priorities, including supporting the creation of MRP for sourcing of materials, DRP, MPS, driving process improvements, and leading supply review.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supports the generation of the planned requirements utilizing the demand signal, on-hand inventory and inventory targets that deliver a comprehensive network supply plan across the supply chain organization, to meet all financial requirements, operational capabilities/capacities, and wholesalers service objectives for assigned Business Unit.

• Undertaking analytics and identifying process improvements managing a defined product portfolio.

• Recommends changes to the network supply plan when deemed necessary over the planning horizon. Changes are to be governed through sales and operations execution (S&OE) and planning (S&OP) process.

• Communicates and interacts with demand planners, customer management, production planning, sales, and finance to provide replenishment plans and exception-based reporting for assigned BU.

• Makes recommendations on actions needed to meet actual and forecasted demand.

• Supports the Supply Planning team with new product introductions and product conversions.

• Reports Key Performance Indicators for their given Business Unit complete with process improvement initiatives and prioritizes tasks and deliverables in a timeline intense environment.

• Support and or drives continuous improvement efforts to improve performance on all key metrics, including service targets and network inventory levels.

What you’ll bring:

• B.A./B.S. Supply Chain, Operations or a business-related field.

• Experience in an end-to-end supply chain role and experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or logistics.

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in supply chain planning.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills required.

• Must be proficient in data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.

• Solid, straightforward, and professional oral and written communication skills, including presenting data and analysis clearly to management.

• Ability to work with all levels and functions within the Company, and with external business partners.

• Well-organized and high level of attention to detail.
