Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled finance systems analyst to provide functional and technical support for the OneStream platform. You will troubleshoot incidents in ServiceNow, assist with ERP integrations, and collaborate with the Global OneStream COE across time zones.

The role involves debugging VB.NET code, ensuring data integrity, and driving automation and improvements in financial processes. A university degree and multiple years in related roles are expected.

Formación

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or equivalent.
• 3+ years in financial reporting, consolidation systems, or related IT/business analysis.
• Experience with OneStream, HFM or similar consolidation tools desirable.
• Experience with ServiceNow, VB.NET, Power Apps.
• Proficiency in VB.NET code quality, maintainability, and standards.
• Experience debugging enterprise app code, data integrations, and production issues.
• Experience performing unit, system, integration, and UAT testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, security, and integration concepts.
• Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, and data management.

What will you do?

• Provide functional and technical support for the OneStream Financial Consolidation and Reporting system, support users during the Monthly End Close Cycle (MECC) and help resolve issues that may affect reporting timelines.

• Troubleshoot user questions and incidents through ServiceNow and follow issues through resolution.

• Support system security groups, roles, and supporting applications used to administer OneStream access.

• Support inbound and outbound integrations with ERP systems and help validate data movement and business rules.

• Partner with the OneStream COE team on finance needs, metadata releases, system updates, and user communications.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Visual Basic code within the OneStream platform to resolve defects, improve system performance, and deliver new business capabilities.

• Perform root cause analysis of application, data, and process issues by reviewing process flows, business rules, integrations, workflows, and system logs to identify and resolve underlying problems.

• Analyze end-to-end financial processes and system workflows to proactively identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and increased reliability.

• Partner closely with the Global OneStream COE collaborating across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones to align development, support, and enhancement activities with enterprise standards, governance, and strategic priorities.

• Focus on what matters by removing blockers quickly, prioritizing issues that affect close activities, and keeping stakeholders informed.

• Use a structured, hands-on approach to analyze problems, test fixes, validate integrations, and confirm outcomes before changes are released.

• Improve every day by documenting lessons learned, suggesting automation or standardization, and strengthening repeatable support processes.

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3 or more years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation systems, or related IT/business analysis work.

• Desirable experience supporting OneStream, HFM, or a similar financial consolidation and reporting platform

• Experience with ServiceNow, Visual Basic (VB.NET), Power Apps.

• Proficiency in writing, reviewing, and analyzing Visual Basic (VB.NET) code to ensure quality, maintainability, scalability, and adherence to development standards.

• Demonstrated experience with debugging and troubleshooting application code, business rules, integrations, and production issues in enterprise environments.

• Experience executing unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful delivery of enhancements and fixes.

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and applications, including understanding of cloud architecture, security, performance, and integration concepts.

• Experience working with ERP integrations, APIs, data management processes, and enterprise application ecosystems.
