Primary purpose of the position:

Responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Corporate Planning, Reporting, and Analysis with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual requirements, as well as ad-hoc analysis, global consolidated reporting, and leading function meetings regularly with members of ELT.

Essential Responsible Areas:
  1. Performs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of the financial performance of the consolidated Ball and presents financial data.
  2. Partners with FPA team department to help build financial models and analysis validation.
  3. Partners with Corporate Sr. manager and regional finance teams on global expenditure forecasting.
  4. Helps the team standardize and streamline reporting functionality and forecast processes.
  5. Prepares financial models and ad-hoc analysis as requested to analyze financial information related to planning, actual results, or projects.
  6. Communicates effectively with all business partners across the organization, including building presentations, oral delivery, written emails, memorandums, and informal conversations.
  7. Supports process improvement within the Financial Planning and Analysis team to deliver timely, accurate, and forecasted results to all levels of Ball management.
Position Requirements & Competencies:
Professional & Education Qualification
  • Broad training in a related field, usually acquired through college; science study is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.
Skills
  • Analytical ability, including understanding financial performance results and evaluating drivers affecting results.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively in a global or cross-functional team.
  • Adaptability to changing business processes, technology, or financial and accounting rules.
  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills for evaluating financial results and potential actions.
Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of finance, accounting, business and economic principles, financial modeling, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Proficiency in Hyperion Financial tools (HFM, Essbase, Planning, etc.) preferred.
