Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a data-driven FP&A professional to enhance forecasting, reporting, and business analysis across the studios. You will leverage automation and scripting to improve financial processes and deliver timely, high-quality information.

Collaborate with business finance partners to understand drivers, present forecasts, and support decision-making. You will reconcile actuals with budgets and develop long-range plans with the studio FP&A team.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, finance analytics, automation, or FP&A-related roles.
• Automation mindset and hands‑off experience with scripting, programming, or AI-powered tools (e.g., Python, Copilot, Claude, SQL) are essential.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modelling.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis techniques.
• Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.
• Critical thinker and strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings and present optimal solutions.
• Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners.
• Motivated by challenging, high‑energy environment.
• Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate forecasting and analysis.
• Participate in meetings with business finance partners to understand forecast drivers and present prepared forecast and analysis data.
• Manage Ad Hoc analysis and financial data requests as needed, generating insights
• Prepare preliminary forecasts for studio meetings and month end reporting.
• Reconcile actuals vs prior forecast/budget/prior year and provide variance analysis to explain performance.
• Work with studio FP&A to develop and budget and long-range plans.
• Work with studio FP&A to evaluate financial impact of potential strategy decisions.
• Demonstrate and maintain high standards of accountability to deliver superior quality financial information on timely basis to business FP&A.
• Build strong relationships with business partner FP&A teams to enable the flow of information and knowledge sharing.
• Drive process simplification initiatives.
• Collaborate across boundaries and share best practices with other FP&A teams.

The Role

We are looking for a data-driven professional who combines strong analytics, automation, and scripting capabilities with a solid understanding of financial planning and reporting. In this role, you will support forecasting, reporting, and business analysis for Warner Bros. Discovery Studios while leveraging data, automation, and scalable solutions to improve financial processes, generate insights, and support decision-making across the organization.

• Support development of systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate forecasting and analysis.

Qualifications & Experiences (MUST)

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, finance analytics, automation, business intelligence, finance transformation, or FP&A-related roles.
• Automation mindset and hands‑off experience with scripting, programming, or AI-powered tools (e.g., Python, Copilot, Claude, SQL, or similar technologies) are essential.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modelling.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in excel and other data analysis techniques.
• Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with real‑business projects involving large data analysis, machine learning tools (AI , Copilot, ) and predictive modeling.
• Data Visualization and BI Tools known as Tableu, Power BI, Looker studio , SAP4 (AO , SmartView)
