The Senior Advanced Cloud Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications and services that support Honeywell’s Smart Energy platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions tailored to utility and energy sector needs, including Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and grid modernization

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

• Architect and develop cloud-native applications using Azure

• Lead the design of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines for smart energy platforms.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated deployments.

• Ensure cloud solutions meet cybersecurity and compliance standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership and innovation.

• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud development and architecture.

• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with smart energy systems or IoT platforms.

WE VALUE:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Expert).

• Experience with time-series data, MQTT, and edge computing.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
