LEGO Group seeks a Director of Regional Security, LATAM, to lead a regional security team across LATAM including Monterrey, MX and offices in MX City and Brazil. You will shape security strategy, manage risk, and oversee crisis preparedness and investigations.

You will coordinate with Legal, People Ops, and site leaders, ensuring compliant operations and global standard alignment. Advanced English required and regional project leadership expected.

Job Description Are you ready to lead security operations protecting our people, assets, and business continuity across the LATAM? Bring your leadership, security expertise, and strategic mindset to the LEGO Group and help shape the future of regional security operations across LATAM. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee security strategy, risk management, crisis preparedness, and operational excellence while leading a team of security professionals dedicated to protecting our people and business.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop regional security team, ensuring strong engagement, capability building, and continuous professional development.
  • Manage day-to-day security operations across the LATAM region, ensuring compliance with global standards, budgets, KPIs, and audit requirements.
  • Oversee outsourced security providers and vendor partnerships, ensuring performance, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Drive regional risk assessment and business impact analysis programs to protect LEGO assets, facilities, intellectual property, and employees.
  • Ensure security systems and infrastructure operate in accordance with global security standards and certification requirements.
  • Lead the delivery of security projects, installations, and expansion while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
  • Direct investigations related to theft, fraud, and loss prevention, partnering with Legal, People Operations & Development, site leadership, and external authorities.
  • Lead regional crisis management preparedness, emergency response planning, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Activate and coordinate crisis response activities during incidents and emergencies, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide security expertise across executive protection, event security, travel security, fraud investigations, and specialized security assessments.

The Global Security organization safeguards LEGO Group people, assets, operations, and intellectual property worldwide. Our mission is to ensure business continuity through risk management, incident prevention, crisis preparedness, and effective response capabilities.

As Director of Regional Security, LATAM you will lead a team of security professionals supporting operations across the LATAM region, including major facilities in Monterrey, Mexico, as well as offices in Mexico City and Brazil.

You will also be a key member of the Global Security Leadership Team, contributing to the long-term security strategy and collaborating with colleagues across regions and the Security Excellence Center.

Do You Have What It Takes?
  • People leadership experience.
  • Proven experience within a corporate security environment, preferably supporting manufacturing or operational sites.
  • Experience working within international and multicultural organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise conducting risk assessments and designing security solutions.
  • Experience with access control and CCTV systems, ideally Genetec.
  • Experience leading crisis management and emergency response programs.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing outsourced security contracts and service providers.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to construction or site expansion projects.
  • Knowledge of supply chain security regulations and customs security programs such as CTPAT.

Note: This position is based in our manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, N.L. This is not a remote position.
