Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA in Monterrey to manage 2019+ deployments, Always On, and performance tuning. You will support Azure PaaS/IaaS alongside on-premises SQL Server environments.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, collaboration with stakeholders, and migration projects to Azure. MongoDB or Confluent Kafka experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SQL Server database administration, with a focus on 2019+.
• 3–5 years supporting Always On availability groups and clustering.
• Strong SQL Server performance tuning, including T-SQL optimization.
• Extensive experience with Azure PaaS/IaaS and on‑premises SQL Server.
• Experience migrating databases from on‑premises to Azure (rehost/refactor/re-architect).
• Ownership mindset with ability to manage projects end-to-end and engage with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and/or Confluent Kafka is a strong plus.

• Proven expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, including both platform-level optimization and T-SQL query/code tuning.
• Extensive operational support experience across Azure PaaS and IaaS environments, as well as on-premises SQL Server platforms.
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience migrating SQL Server databases from on-premises to Azure (rehost, refactor, or re-architect approaches).
• Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to proactively manage projects end-to-end and effectively engage with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and/or Confluent Kafka platforms is a strong plus.
