Job summary

Valeo is seeking an Automation Trainee to support the design, development, and implementation of automated solutions on the production floor. You will collaborate with PLC specialists and cross-functional teams to analyze processes and drive efficiency.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in mechatronics or related fields, have intermediate English, and are eager to learn. Internship lasts 6 to 12 months with student medical insurance coverage throughout the period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, control and automation, robotics, electronics engineering.
• English intermediate.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior internship or project experience related to automation or software development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers and developers in the analysis of existing processes for automation opportunities.
• Participate in the design and development of automation scripts, workflows, and applications using various tools and platforms.
• Conduct testing and debugging of automated solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to specifications.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of automation systems, including monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Document automation processes, configurations, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Stay updated on the latest automation technologies and best practices.
• Willingness to spend the majority of the time on the production floor analyzing machine operations and understanding operator worflows.
