The role focuses on purchasing execution, supplier identification, RFQ/e-auction support, and compliance with internal policies. Strong Excel and e-sourcing experience are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• English: Advanced (C1/C2) proficiency for verbal and written communication.
• Strong knowledge of procurement tools and systems (e.g., SAP, SRM).
• Proficient in e-sourcing platforms and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid analytical and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on procurement or category management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process local purchase requisitions per category strategies.
• Validate purchase requests for accuracy and channel selection.
• Clarify specifications with end users for one-time purchases.
• Identify suitable suppliers and initiate RFQs or e-auctions.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate terms, select suppliers, and support contracts.
• Convert requisitions into purchase orders efficiently.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, data analysis, and contract management.

1. Role Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Spot Buyer to join our Procurement team. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day purchasing of non-strategic goods and services, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines, service-level agreements (SLAs), and sourcing best practices. The Spot Buyer plays a key role in delivering efficient and compliant procurement solutions that support business continuity and cost optimization.

2. Key Responsibilities

Purchasing Execution:

• Process local purchase requisitions in accordance with defined category strategies.
• Validate purchase requests for accuracy and determine the appropriate buying channel.
• Collaborate with end users to clarify missing specifications or requirements for one‑time (free‑text) purchases.

Sourcing Activities:

• Identify suitable suppliers for specific needs or categories.
• Utilize internal sourcing tools to initiate requests for quotation (RFQs) or e‑auctions in coordination with the e‑Sourcing team.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate terms, select suppliers, and support contract creation as needed.
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders (POs) efficiently.

Support & Compliance:

• Assist with supplier onboarding, data analysis, and contract management within assigned categories.
• Provide guided buying support to users, promoting adherence to procurement policies and educating on the correct buying channels.
• Resolve purchase‑related issues and elevate complex matters to the appropriate stakeholders.

• Manage the end-to-end process of non‑strategic purchasing.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and SLAs.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to meet procurement needs promptly and effectively.

5. Qualifications & Competencies

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Languages:

• English: Advanced (C1/C2 level required – verbal and written)

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of procurement tools and systems (e.g., SAP, SRM).
• Proficient in e‑sourcing platforms and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid analytical and negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous hands‑on experience in procurement or category management.
• Exposure to regional or global sourcing environments is an advantage.
