LEONI México is seeking a Material Planner to maintain accurate supplier and article master data, check MRP results, and issue purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries in Hermosillo.

You will track deliveries, identify bottlenecks, support supplier integration and logistics agreements, and collaborate with local teams to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce obsolete materials. Strong Excel skills and English communication are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, supply chain, or similar roles.
• Experience in supplier management, delivery performance evaluation, and logistics agreements is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) are required.
• Intermediate to advanced English skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains accurate supplier and article master data.
• Checks Material Requirements Planning (MRP) results and sends orders to suppliers.
• Tracks supplier deliveries, identifies bottlenecks and escalates risk of shortages.
• Ensures optimum stock level for raw materials and takes actions to avoid and reduce excess/obsolete items.
• Supports technical changes by ensuring ordering/deliveries of new components.
• Supports supplier integration (localization, consignment agreements, logistics agreements, delivery performance evaluation) and develops/maintains regular contact with suppliers.

Job Description

• Maintains accurate supplier and article master data.
