Job summary

Epiroc in Matehuala, MX is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, machining centers, cranes and related equipment. You will diagnose failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

You'll also support predictive maintenance, update CMMS records, and work with production teams to ensure safe, efficient operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical faults.
• Capable of analyzing recurring issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Knowledge of safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Experience working with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, machining centers, overhead cranes, and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical failures to minimize downtime.
• Analyze recurring equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support for welding robots, utility systems, and production equipment.
• Execute equipment inspections, adjustments, alignments, lubrication, and component replacements.
• Support predictive maintenance activities, including vibration analysis, thermography, and electrical measurements.
• Ensure accurate maintenance records and update CMMS systems (e.g., Svision).
• Support the installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Promote compliance with safety standards, LOTO procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement, technical training, and knowledge-sharing activities.
