Una organización internacional enfocada en el desarrollo infantil busca un Specialist II en Comunicación que planifique y ejecute estrategias de marketing digital. Este rol involucrará la creación de contenido, gestión de redes sociales y trabajo con agencias de comunicación. El candidato ideal debe tener licenciatura en campos relacionados y 5 años de experiencia, además de habilidades avanzadas en diseño gráfico y gestión de plataformas digitales.

Formación

  • Al menos 5 años de experiencia en comunicación, marketing o roles relacionados.
  • Experiencia en gestión de redes sociales y campañas digitales.

About This Role

Responsible for planning and executing communication and digital marketing activities to increase organizational visibility and support resource mobilization. This includes the strategic dissemination of key messages across appropriate formats and channels, using a voice aligned with the organization’s image, to engage key audiences such as staff, donors, followers, and brand ambassadors, while ensuring alignment with ChildFund’s Child Safeguarding Policy.

This is a full-time, 3 months fixed position funded through October 31, 2025. This is a remote position open to candidates with current residence and work location in a ChildFund country of operation.

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate studies in Communication or Marketing (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in communication, marketing, or related roles.
  • Experience in the nonprofit/NGO sector is a plus.
  • Experience with social media management, content creation, and digital campaigns.
  • Intermediate graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Solid understanding of digital platforms and social media management.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies and action plans.
  • Support the creation and dissemination of communication materials aligned with organizational policies.
  • Manage content production for social media, websites, blogs, and email marketing.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions and official communication channels.
  • Write and edit content for newsletters, reports, presentations, and press releases.
  • Serve as liaison with communication agencies and media outlets.
  • Shape and maintain a positive, meaningful, and creative external image, with a strong focus on digital media and social networks.
  • Coordinate with external agencies (PR, digital marketing, design, etc.).
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns with the fundraising team.
  • Collaborate on local and regional communication and fundraising campaigns with marketing, sponsorship, and program teams.
  • Design donor retention and acquisition materials in collaboration with the Fundraising and Donor Experience team.
  • Organize and support events (in-person and virtual), including logistics and coverage.
  • Develop key materials for various audiences (e.g., press releases, media kits, speeches, presentations, social media content, newsletters, promotional videos).
  • Maintain and update the organization’s website and blog.
  • Support influencer and ambassador engagement strategies.
  • Set and monitor periodic reach and frequency goals for communication channels and audience behavior and competitor activities.
  • Identify key audiences and create relevant content to foster engagement.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and identify trends.
  • Ensure brand voice, tone, and messaging are consistent, visible, and impactful, across all communication materials.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting a unified voice and image.
  • Support internal teams with communication needs and briefings.

  • Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks.   • Experience using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and dashboards in Data Studio or Looker.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, and data analytics. Understanding and interpreting digital marketing KPIs.
