Job Description

  1. Analyze and evaluate customer requirements; act as the interface to the customer regarding quality aspects.
  2. Support development with regard to quality planning and customer standards, including participation in RFQs, preparation, agreement, and follow-up on APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) according to customer requirements. Participate in and prepare quality input for D-FMEA, monitor the release status of components, and coordinate initial sampling documentation, timelines, and requirements with the customer.
  3. Serve as a Core Team Member for product quality, acting as the key interface with the customer project team on all quality matters (e.g., P-FMEA, Control Plan). Participate in customer visits and audits, and conduct supplier audits if required.
  4. Escalate major project quality issues during project phases to project management and the QM Organization.
  5. Ensure compliance with LEONI requirements and work accordingly.
  6. Report and monitor KPIs according to the department's concept (sampling individual parts, standard customer sampling).
  7. Participate in project reviews, including internal and customer site reviews.
  8. Monitor product quality at customer locations and within LEONI during project phases.

Qualifications

  • University or master's degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced English skills and strong communication abilities.
