A leading automotive company in Cuautitlán Izcalli seeks a Warehouse Manager to supervise daily warehouse activities and ensure efficient inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in warehouse management within the automotive sector. Responsibilities include managing shipments, liaising with logistics providers, and improving supply performance to meet customer expectations.

Formación

Purpose:

In this role, you will be responsible for the Parts Delivery Center, participate in the daily activities of our warehouses in a safe way, including activities such as truck unloading, putting away, storing, picking, truck loading, stock counting.

He/She will be the main link between the 3PL and Soueast Mexico ensuring the delivery of goods in a timely manner

Position Tasks:

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity and efficiency, shipping, and customer service.
  • Oversee inventory control, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and distribution of automotive parts and components.
  • Effectively monitors flow of goods and implements First-In First-Out (FIFO) and ABC method in the use of raw materials and in dispatching of finished goods
  • Leading process: Warehousing, Inventories, Logistics, Packaging, Material´s flow and finish good.
  • Responsible for performing inventories, assure to make a cycle count regularly. communicating stock levels and improvement areas.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, managing logistics providers and optimizing freight performance
  • Develop plans to improve delivery and supply performance to our Dealer network as well as all outbound processes and implement improvement measures.
  • Daily collaboration with internal teams within Soueast México to ensure timely shipment of open orders for wholesale customers
  • 3PL Management and keep in permanent contact with all service providers in terms of SLA’s, contractual obligations and KPI’s
  • Ensures accuracy of product inventories against system records by conducting cycle counts on a periodic basis following appropriate guidelines released by accounting and audit departments.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order processing to meet customer expectations and reduce delivery times.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to identify inefficiencies and develop optimization strategies.

Knowledge of:

  • 3PL management
  • Proven experience in parts management, and Parts Delivery Center (PDC) preferably within the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
  • Inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP/WMS).
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S

Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, business administration, or equivalent
  • SAP, WMS and MS products (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in warehouse management, Customer Service or Logistics in a multinational automotive industry environment
