Position Overview

Ensures that all chemical products and processes comply with national and international regulations across South American markets. This role involves interpreting complex regulatory frameworks, preparing documentation for approvals, and liaising with government agencies to maintain compliance and support product lifecycle management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree is required on Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in global regulations and governance within chemical industrial sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience with South American regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of chemistry and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with SAP EHS modules and SVT.
  • Advanced English (C1)

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret chemical regulations across South American countries.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and assess impact on product portfolios.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers for product registration, import/export permits, and safety data sheets.
  • Maintain accurate records of regulatory filings and correspondence.
  • Work with R&D, manufacturing, and legal teams to ensure regulatory considerations are integrated into product development.
  • Serve as point of contact with regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Respond to inquiries and audits from government agencies.
  • Develop and implement best practices for regulatory processes.
  • Support internal audits and corrective actions related to compliance.
