What you will do

As a Sourcing Manager in the Knowledge Services team, you will be responsible for executing complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories including translating business requirements into clear statements of Work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions.

Also, you will be responsible for:

  1. Defining and implementing global sourcing and outsourcing strategies that consolidate and optimize both the supplier base and services, while securing the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and access to the highest levels of service and quality.
  2. Identifying and executing against strategic initiatives to build upon category advisor expertise.
  3. Partnering closely with key stakeholder teams to understand critical business needs, trends, and strategies.
  4. Managing a team of junior sourcing professionals including Category Managers and Analysts for day-to-day coaching, training, and ongoing development.
  5. Leading key procurement activities, including RFx development and execution, Statement of Work (SOW) and contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations (new client initiatives).
  6. Participating in cross-functional visionary development and implementation.
  7. Coaching leadership qualities into subordinates and direct reports, building the future leaders of the organization.
What you should bring
  1. 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing with strong project management skills.
  2. Specific category experience (MRO, Capex, Logistics, IT & Professional Services, Marketing), preferably with high-level expertise in Professional Services Category and strategic sourcing project design and execution.
  3. Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills.
  4. Negotiation strategy development & facilitation.
  5. Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiations.
  6. Experience managing delivery of junior team (Team of Leads and Analysts).
  7. Excellent communication in Spanish and English – written and verbal is a must.

  1. Effective influencer who can make persuasive arguments.
  2. Negotiation skills including building eAuction strategies.
  3. Excellent communication – written and verbal.
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suites, Outlook, and ERP/P2P systems knowledge (RQ).
