What you will do

As a Sourcing Manager in the Knowledge Services team you will be responsible for executing complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories to include: translating business requirements into clear statements of Work, solicits bids, leads auctions.

Also, you will be responsible for:

• Define and implement global sourcing and outsourcing strategies that consolidate and optimize both the supplier base and services, while securing the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and access to the highest levels of service and quality
• Identify and execute against strategic initiatives to build upon category advisor expertise
• Partner closely with key stakeholder teams to understand critical business needs, trends and strategies
• Manage a team of junior sourcing professionals including Category Managers and Analysts for the day-to-day coaching, training, and ongoing development
• Leadership role in key procurement activities, including RFx development and execution, Statement of Work (SOW) and contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations (new client initiatives).
• Greater participation/involvement in cross functional visionary development and implementation
• Greater responsibility of coaching leadership qualities into subordinates and direct reports, building the future leaders of the organization

What you should bring

• 10+ of relevant experience in strategic sourcing with strong project management skills
• Specific category experience (MRO, Capex, Logistics, IT & Professional Services, Marketing). Preferably with some high-level expertise in Professional Services Category and strategic sourcing projects design and execution.
• Strong Financial analysis and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiations
• Managing delivery of junior team (Team of Leads and Analysts)
• Excellent communication in Spanish and English – written and verbal is a must.

OTHER SKILLS

• Effective influencer who can make persuasive arguments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft office suites, Outlook, ERP/ P2P systems knowledge (RQ).
