Solution Architect, North America Pursuit COE

Description -

The following posting is a pipeline requisition, meant to accumulate candidates for this role. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that align with customer needs and drive the organization’s growth. The role encompasses client engagement and risk management while demonstrating technical expertise. The role leverages developed subject matter expertise to address complex business challenges, adhering to established guidelines, and suggesting suitable alternatives when needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Evaluates potential business opportunities by engaging with customer's IT and business teams to understand requirements and match them with the organization’s offerings.
  2. Identifies and addresses project risks to ensure successful delivery, analyzing factors such as technical complexities, timeline constraints, budget limitations, and external dependencies that could impact the project's success.
  3. Provides solutions to the customer's requirements, adapting and optimizing as per their needs, considering scalability, security, and performance.
  4. Aligns proposed solutions with the organization’s strategy and supports sales efforts, conducting component peer reviews, and participating in higher-level delivery and commercial governance reviews.
  5. Supports account team with solution advice, proposals, and customer communications, identifying upselling opportunities.
  6. Builds and maintains strong customer relationships as a technical liaison and applies consultative selling techniques to advance opportunities.
  7. Plans for the scalability of the solutions to accommodate future growth and increasing demand.
  8. Implements solutions while providing direction and guidance to the implementation team.
  9. Stays updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.

Education & Experience Recommended

  1. Four-year or Graduate Degree in Technical studies, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  2. Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in technical/consultative selling, project/program management, delivery or account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
