Descripción del empleo

Assist in the creation of design guidelines for software and hardware integration, performance, reliability, operating, and security designs. Support business units in the creation of project business cases (e.g., success criteria).

Capture business capability requirements, functional requirements, and expected service levels from business units and stated EA solutions to create an actionable business-IT roadmap for Maximo. Create integration points of new business solutions with legacy systems to meet client requirements as needed.

Support BU CIOs in identifying opportunities for emerging technologies to enable business strategies. Provide advisory services to clients on the impact of new technologies on their existing technical and information system environments.

Collaborate with BA, PM, and QA teams to review test strategies and requirements traceability. Ensure business and functional requirements are maintained throughout the development/configuration process (requirements traceability matrix). Review and analyze user acceptance testing results.

Maintain an understanding of technology needs and solutions for the business unit. Regularly visit business units to assess satisfaction and identify follow-up educational opportunities. Consider alternative delivery models to meet business needs.

Liaise between the client, vendors, project management, and the technical team on questions, issues, and revisions to the solution architecture.

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 10 or more years working with the Maximo application or similar applications, with experience in the Supply Chain and/or nuclear lines of business.

At least 4 years of experience working with Maximo and understanding how it supports the business.

Entry-level understanding of Energy industry application solutions.

Entry-level experience in developing customer-centric solutions.

Working knowledge of most areas of technology (infrastructure, commercial applications, software development, end-user platforms, IT operations).

Experience in planning, especially in designing long-term strategies.

Effective communication and presentation skills with all organization levels.

Good interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Working knowledge of architecture concepts and the ability to align business needs with technology capabilities.

Ability to work under pressure, focus on quality, and be results-oriented.
