Mid-Level Test Automation Engineer

Join our growing team as a Test Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving our automated testing frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with QA engineers, software developers, and cross-functional teams to design, execute, and analyze automated test cases.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts to support software validation and regression testing.
2. Execute automated test suites to diagnose issues, verify bug fixes, and ensure new features maintain system integrity.
3. Analyze test results, identify software defects, and document findings for triage and resolution.
4. Collaborate with manual QA engineers and developers to design effective test cases, including edge cases and unconventional user scenarios.
5. Contribute to test strategy improvements and automation best practices.
6. Maintain detailed test documentation to support debugging and future testing efforts.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Requirements

1. Proficiency in test automation frameworks.
2. Solid programming experience in Python/Java (or similar scripting languages).
3. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
4. Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
5. Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methodologies.

Education & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2. 2-5 years of experience in software test automation, software development, or QA engineering (preferred).
