We are seeking a mid-level Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing both legacy and modern automation frameworks to support our end-to-end (E2E) testing initiatives across web, mobile, and backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust automation, continuous integration, and traceability practices.
This position requires hands-on experience with Java/Selenium, and familiarity or experience with AccelQ and BrowserStack, as well as a strong understanding of modern QA methodologies, cloud-based testing, and agile development environments.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and backend platforms using Java/Selenium and AccelQ.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to support scalable, reusable, and maintainable test solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA analysts to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize Polarion ALM to manage test cases, ensure traceability to requirements, and support compliance in regulated environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Support test data management and environment setup for automated test execution.
- Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing using BrowserStack or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Track and report quality metrics, test coverage, and automation progress to stakeholders.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and promote shift-left testing practices.
- Assist in performance and load testing using tools like JMeter.
- Contribute to mobile automation efforts using tools such as Appium (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Java/Selenium frameworks (data-driven, hybrid, or keyword-driven).
- Familiarity or experience with AccelQ for codeless automation of web and mobile applications.
- Experience with BrowserStack or similar platforms for cloud-based test execution.
- Proficiency with Polarion ALM for test management and traceability.
- Strong understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with Maven for build management and dependency handling.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce Classic and Lightning platforms.
- Exposure to AI-enhanced testing tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with global and distributed teams.
- Experience with Bamboo for CI/CD.
