We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer II who will be responsible for executing an estimated mix of 60% software security assurance process and 40% software development for mobile applications. Your duties will include conducting security analysis, implementing defenses, and applying countermeasures at each phase of the software development lifecycle to produce robust and reliable software, as well as developing mobile software modules with more experienced team members.
You should have a solid technical background and strong abilities in software security correction and prevention. We also expect you to have an analytical mindset and to be an efficient team player. The candidate must be experienced in agile methodologies to integrate security features during the software development lifecycle.

Position responsibilities

• Execute the complete process of security software development (security planning, testing, identifying security gaps, closing gaps, deployment)
• Organize ongoing security testing and code reviews to improve software security
• Plan, test, and implement advanced security techniques in compliance with technical architecture
• Prepare engineering designs for new software solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Participate in all levels of software architecture and development within the team
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Provide guidance and consulting on secure coding practices
• Stay informed about new tools and industry best practices
• Develop software modules or code changes in an agile environment within a multicultural team

YOU MUST HAVE

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in software security processes and development
• Experience with authentication, authorization, cryptography, security vulnerabilities, remediation, and SDLC security practices
• Proficiency in core languages: .NET, Python, Java
• Knowledge of mobile technologies, web services, SOA, and network/mobile protocols
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
