Job summary

McKinsey & Company seeks a talented software engineer to transform client businesses with end-to-end digital solutions. You will build products hands-on, mentor client teams, and shape engineering cultures. Based in a Global Studio, you’ll collaborate across industries on scalable tech and product strategy.

You will work with frontend and backend stacks, cloud platforms, and modern tooling in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is valued.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years building full-stack apps with readable, testable code.
• Experience collaborating with developers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency across frontend and backend stacks and multiple databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Docker/CI-CD.
• Strong focus on testing, logging, monitoring, and reliability.
• Experience in Agile teams and sprint ceremonies.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor's or MSc in a relevant field
• 2+ years of experience developing full‑stack applications by writing code that is readable, testable, maintainable, and scalable
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with other developers, as well as technical and non‑technical people within software teams
• Hands‑on experience and willingness to learn across frontend (TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Tailwind), backend (Python, Node.js, Java/Spring, C#/.NET), and databases (SQL, NoSQL, vector databases, ETL)
• Experience with LLM frameworks, prompt orchestration, agent frameworks, MCPs, evaluation frameworks, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including Docker and CI/CD
• Strong focus on automated testing, logging, monitoring, and overall system reliability
• Experience working in Agile teams, including active participation in sprint ceremonies
• Experience pair programming collaboratively with other developers
• Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
