QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey in Monterrey, Mexico seeks a senior software engineer to build full‑stack applications and AI‑driven products. You’ll write readable, testable code, collaborate with developers, data scientists, and clients, and own features end‑to‑end.

You’ll work across frontend and backend stacks (TypeScript, React, Python, Node.js, Java/Spring, C#/ .NET), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and ML tooling, with a strong focus on testing, observability, and Agile practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's, MSc or PhD in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of deep technical experience developing full-stack applications.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with developers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience across frontend and backend and databases.
• Experience with LLM frameworks, prompt orchestration, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including Docker and CI/CD.
• Strong focus on automated testing, logging, monitoring, and reliability.
• Experience in Agile teams and sprint ceremonies.
• Experience pair programming with other developers.
• Exceptional time management in a complex, largely autonomous environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; submit CV in English.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's, MSc or PhD level in a relevant field
• 7+ years of deep technical experience developing full‑stack applications by writing code that is readable, testable, maintainable, and scalable
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with other developers, as well as technical and non‑technical people within software teams
• Hands‑on experience and willingness to learn across frontend (TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Tailwind), backend (Python, Node.js, Java/Spring, C#/.NET), and databases (SQL, NoSQL, vector databases, ETL)
• Experience with LLM frameworks, prompt orchestration, agent frameworks, MCPs, evaluation frameworks, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including Docker and CI/CD
• Strong focus on automated testing, logging, monitoring, and overall system reliability
• Experience working in Agile teams, including active participation in sprint ceremonies
• Experience pair programming collaboratively with other developers
• Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
• Effective communication skills — both verbally and in writing — in English and Spanish
