AlertMedia is looking for a Software Engineer II with full-stack experience and strong front-end skills. This role is an opportunity to use a wide variety of design and technical web skills to help us develop and support features for the AlertMedia product suite . You must have a passion for innovative software development and willingness to roll up your sleeves to collaborate with all teams. You will have the opportunity to show who you are throughout our interview process; we don’t ask any trick questions or expect you to perform a whiteboard exercise. Who you are:

What you get to do every day:

  • Design and develop features for the AlertMedia product suite
  • Learn the AlertMedia platform and tools, and its uses for our customers
  • Work with React, Next.js, Node, Python, Djangoand other web technologies to deliver leading software solutions in the mass communications space
  • Work in an Agile based environment using tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack
  • Contribute to the technology lead that AlertMedia has over other solutions through innovative development and by helping contribute new ideas related to leveraging technology in our product line
  • Use strong verbal and written communication skills in collaboration with other engineering and product teams
  • Contribute to AlertMedia’s culture, values and vision for the future

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services AWS (Azure or Google Cloud Platform) is required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage working on multiple projects in parallel
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • English proficiency (written and oral) is required
  • Strong preference for this to be a hybrid position (1-2 days a week) in the Reforma area of Mexico City, but we will consider fully remote candidates in Mexico
