Amazon Devices is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help enhance the shopping experience for millions of customers worldwide. You will work on devices such as Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, and other interfaces, using modern JavaScript, Java, and microservices to deliver scalable features.

The role is highly cross‑functional, collaborating with product managers, design, and other engineers, with emphasis on reliability, performance, and ML‑driven personalization.

Formación

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Own and execute on long‑term technical initiatives and build products, features, and services that facilitate the entire customer journey from search until checkout.
• Work closely with multiple product managers, design, senior and principal engineers across multiple teams to deliver new products, features, and services.
• Champion code reviews and design reviews and contribute to scalable architectures.
