About the Opportunity
WeWork is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Lead to support global initiatives and oversee social media eorts across the LATAM region. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing localized and global strategies, leading regional content development, and serving as the primary point of contact for LATAM social media operations. This person will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Social Media, and work closely to support cross-functional partnerships and drive initiatives that align with global business goals, helping position WeWork as a leading brand across key markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Lead the development and execution of LATAM’s regional social media strategy, ensuring alignment with broader global objectives and business goals.
Act as the key social media liaison for LATAM, collaborating with marketing leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure market relevance and execution excellence.
Support the development and distribution of global campaigns across regional markets, ensuring cultural and linguistic resonance.
Brief internal creative and production teams (and external vendors where applicable) on social-first content needs that serve both brand and performance objectives.
Stay ahead of platform and market trends in LATAM and globally, bringing strategic insights and recommendations to shape future initiatives.
Drive content planning and creative briefing for LATAM and global campaigns and activations, collaborating with designers, writers, video editors, and local teams. Maintain content calendars for LATAM and global social channels, ensuring alignment with global brand moments, local market launches, and key campaigns.
Maintain asset management system for global and LATAM social media functions.
Own the development and localization of social media copy for LATAM and global channels, ensuring brand tone and messaging remain consistent across all touchpoints.
Evaluate and optimize content performance, identifying opportunities for testing, iteration, and innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Act as the day-to-day lead for social media needs across LATAM, coordinating closely with integrated marketing, PR/communications, community, events, sales, and property marketing teams.
Collaborate with internal communications and sales enablement to drive social sharing programs for internal audiences.
Support executive and internal stakeholders with strategic recommendations for social support of events, press, and local activations.
Campaign Management & Reporting
Partner with the analytics team to track key KPIs and performance across LATAM and global campaigns, producing reports and insights to inform ongoing strategy. Oversee UGC, influencer content, and brand activations to ensure high-quality storytelling and alignment with key brand narratives.
Maintain asset and calendar management systems for global and LATAM content, ensuring on-time delivery and real-time optimization.
About You:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication, Marketing or related.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, ideally with global scale.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube).
Proven ability to create and brief creative content across formats (video, static, UGC, influencer).
Working proficiency in Portuguese.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across departments (e.g. communications, marketing, sales, creative).
Comfortable presenting ideas and reports to internal stakeholders at the director/VP level.
Comfort working autonomously and proactively driving initiatives forward. Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g. Sprout Social.).
Familiarity with creative tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite).
Proficiency with reporting tools and social media analytics tools (e.g. native platform insights, Tableau).
Ideal candidate should have some experience in B2B marketing.
