The role requires at least 3 years of entertainment marketing experience and strong bilingual skills in Spanish and English. Title: Social Media Coordinator

Division/Dept: SPT Distribution & Networks / Marketing and Creative

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

General Summary:

The Social Media Coordinator will support all Sony Pictures Entertainment Businesses focusing on TV Networks, Distribution, TV Production and Home Entertainment across Latin America, with special attention to Mexico.

The Coordinator will work directly with the Social Media Manager with the main objective to grow and maintain SPE’s digital communities and increase brand awareness and engagement by creating, managing and executing digital and social media marketing activities across the territory.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Overview all social media activities in all existing platforms in (Latin America) with focus on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube
  • Coordinate promotional plans for key priority titles by leading and executing digital programs that truly impact consumers.
  • Work closely with different teams to generate and implement social content calendar and support new revenue streams based on the business strategy.
  • Provide consumer insights that helps strategic decision making.
  • Track KPI´s and performance, providing comprehensive reporting.
  • Monitor and evaluate early adoption of new technology and platforms.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • 3 of years specialty / 2 of years entertainment. At least 3 years of entertainment marketing experience
  • Experience coordinating outside creative vendors and agencies.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish / English, Portuguese is a plus
  • Social media savvy and experienced with digital media and platforms
  • Technology enthusiast, Trend hunter
  • Use of metrics, analytics and capable of data management and interpretation

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, publicity or similar is required.
