Caterpillar Inc. in Santa María, Nuevo León, is seeking a Snowflake Platform Administrator to lead the enterprise data lake/warehouse environment. You will manage Snowflake infrastructure, provide daily support to developers, and translate business needs into technical specs.

The role requires strong SQL, Python when available, and the ability to collaborate with teams in the US, India, and beyond. On-site five days a week with travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the Snowflake infrastructure across the Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart layers.
• Lead daily technical support sessions for contribution-model developers and remove development roadblocks.
• Manage time-sensitive access requests, permissions, contributor onboarding, training and completion testing.
• Guide contributors through the three-layer architecture and the established process for moving data products into production.
• Develop SQL-based solutions in Snowflake for data-product issues and special projects.
• Evaluate new Snowflake capabilities and guide developers on their effective use.
• Translate business-process needs into clear technical documentation and development requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams in the United States, India, and other locations as project needs arise.
