Job summary

Capgemini Mexico is seeking a data engineer to build and optimize modern data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and dbt. You will own end-to-end ELT/ETL workflows, troubleshoot data issues, and deliver production-ready data products for analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.

You will collaborate with data architects, analytics teams, and platform engineers to scale data solutions, improve query performance and cost efficiency, and contribute to CI/CD practices in a fast-growing,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of total Data Engineering experience.
• 2+ years hands-on Snowflake experience in enterprise environments.
• Advanced SQL and query optimization skills.
• Python development experience building reusable data pipelines.
• Expertise with DBT and ELT/ETL processes.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and data warehousing.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD and data quality monitoring.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize end-to-end data integration processes (ELT/ETL).
• Develop scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python and dbt.
• Improve Snowflake performance, warehouse utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Analytics teams and Platform Engineers.
• Participate in production support, monitoring and CI/CD practices.
