Job summary

Kohler Sanimex Plant (Juárez, NL) is seeking a Slip & Glaze General Supervisor to oversee Laboratory, Slip and Glaze operations onsite. You will ensure production schedules are met within budget, supervise skilled staff, and collaborate with HR for staffing and training initiatives.

A focus on safety, productivity, and quality is essential. Preference given to candidates with Ceramic Engineering knowledge, ISO/Six Sigma exposure, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Ceramic Engineering and Industrial Laboratory Control; ISO and Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• English language skills preferred; familiarity with Windows-based software applications.

Responsibilities

• Direct Slip and Glaze processing operations to meet standards and schedules.
• Monitor performance against budgets, labor, and material requirements; take corrective actions as needed.
• Supervise Ceramic Engineers, Foremen, Sr. Technician, and Laboratory Technician.
• Develop department objectives and participate in budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure safety and health matters are communicated and acted upon promptly.
