Site Reliability Engineer

NTT DATA is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in GDL, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Responsibilities:

1. Perform Level 1.5 activities such as monitoring, deployment, and rollback.
2. Monitor the efficiency of Azure cloud systems to prevent outages and initiate incident management procedures when necessary.
3. Troubleshoot Azure resources and escalate issues to Level 3 (soft dev team).

Qualifications:

• Understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud, ideally with Azure Fundamentals certification or a degree in Computer Science/Information Systems Management.
• Familiarity with PaaS and IaaS components like VMs, Storage, EventHub, Service Fabric Cluster, Azure Kubernetes Service, CosmosDB, SQL Server, IoT Hub, Databricks, KeyVault, Datalake.
• Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts.
• Experience with tools such as Octopus, Bamboo, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Github, Ansible.
• Understanding container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases, monitoring and logging systems.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
