Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

NTT DATA is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in GDL, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Responsibilities:

1. Perform Level 1.5 activities such as monitoring, deployment, and rollback.
2. Monitor the efficiency of Azure cloud systems to prevent outages and initiate incident management procedures in case of outages.
3. Troubleshoot Azure resources and escalate issues to Level 3 (soft dev team) when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services, ideally with Azure Fundamentals certification or a degree in Computer Science/Information Systems Management.
• Familiarity with PaaS and IaaS including VMs, Storage, EventHub, Service Fabric Cluster (SFC), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), CosmosDB, SQL Server, IoT Hub, Databricks, KeyVault, Datalake.
• Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts such as telemetry, ingestion, processing, data storage, and reporting.
• Experience with tools like Octopus, Bamboo, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Github, Ansible.
• Understanding container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases and their maintenance.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems like LogAnalytics, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix.
• Independent thinking to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
