As a Site Procurement Manager for the Fulfillment Center (FC), you will oversee the site’s procurement operations, including procurement for direct and indirect products and services, vendor management, forecasting needs, inventory management, purchase order management, and site daily activities. You will also lead supplier management KPIs and metrics reporting, collaborate with stakeholders to identify deviations and improvement areas, and provide procurement leadership to drive efficiencies and improvements in the building.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Align with the Regional Procurement Manager to provide procurement operations, including forecasting of non-inventory services, supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, procurement transactions, innovation projects, and expediting support as needed.
  2. Develop deep knowledge of services and categories.
  3. Report key milestones on a weekly and monthly basis to the local Site leader regarding service performance and required actions.
  4. Lead the operational procurement process.
  5. Manage KPIs to measure, control, and benchmark site procurement processes, including creating recurring metrics reports.
  6. Build relationships across the building and with the network of Procurement and other sites.
  7. Coordinate with internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budget targets and develop metrics for savings and value.
  8. Manage projects and develop category metrics to monitor performance against strategy.
  9. Measure actual versus planned savings, identify trends, escalate issues, and own action plans.
  10. Maintain supplier scorecards.
  11. Support Procurement Operations excellence and Category Management teams.
A day in the life
  1. Monitor daily performance across all sites.
  2. Identify and implement service improvement opportunities.
  3. Attend critical escalations and develop action plans.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers for value-added improvements.
  5. Identify internal process vulnerabilities and potential risks.
  6. Maintain 24/7 coverage for shifts and services to prevent disruptions.
  7. Ensure business continuity in contingencies.
  8. Manage projects effectively.
