A logistics and finance company in León is seeking a SITE FINANCES ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN to manage the registration and control of invoices across their plants. This role will involve monitoring supplier payments, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in accounts payable processes.

SITE FINANCES ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN - PAYABLES

This role is responsible for the registration, control, and delivery of invoices issued by all Mexico POCES plants to our suppliers. It also ensures the correct application of payments, aiming for invoices to be paid within the period established in the purchase order. The role involves keeping track of all payments, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.

Responsibilities:

1. Control and monitoring of supplier portfolio

• Record invoices and reconcile receipts/invoices
• Assemble, review, and verify invoices and check requests
• Register charges
• Review and control invoices in our portal
• Sort, code, and match invoices
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Prepare and validate payments for social benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, etc.)

Overdue accounts

• Report and track overdue accounts
• Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports

Statutory Compliance

• Assist and support internal and external audits
• Support the finance team with accountable update issues
• Review inter-company operations in Optidoc
