Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Site Financial Controller to partner with site leadership and oversee financial reporting, planning, and control at the manufacturing site. You will drive month-end close, cost analysis, cash management, and governance to protect profitability and ensure accurate financial results.

You will lead the site finance team, collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and regional Finance, and translate business priorities into actionable financial plans while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing finance experience.
• +5 Years of experience as Finance Manager.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, balance sheet management, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and large operational data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely reporting.
• Own balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, journal review, accruals, provisions, and timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Maintain effective internal controls.
• Oversee site accounting judgments, including inventory valuation, revenue recognition where applicable, and fixed asset accounting, in partnership with regional and technical Finance.
• Lead site cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
