Formación

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring that the SMT technologies and projects under their charge produce electronic modules in accordance with global guidelines, customer requirements, and Automotive Industry normative standards such as IATF Standard Compliance. The responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the introduction of highly complex production technologies following CAP0603076 and other specific Continental Automotive procedures.
2. Managing, sustaining, and optimizing process equipment through continuous improvements (software and hardware), enhancing KPIs such as PFY, utilization rate, PpK/Cpk, and cycle times.
3. Ensuring process systems on the production floor meet target KPIs (availability, quality rate, performance) after G90 and throughout the remainder of the PLC. Leading continuous improvement efforts, providing feedback to the industrialization team, supporting Yokoten documentation, mentoring colleagues, supporting TPM activities, and managing shop floor resources.
4. Participating in local and global technical communities to uphold standards for Continental, including supplier development and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in the automotive or electronics industry.
• 1-3 years of experience leading improvement projects with innovative and flexible methods.
• Project management knowledge.
• Proficiency in statistical tools (SPC, MCA, CPK).
• English proficiency (medium/high).
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills, self-motivated, clear communication, well-organized.
• Knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and interpretation of electric and pneumatic diagrams.
