A leading defense and engineering firm seeks a Shipwright/Insulator to maintain and repair vessels and craft. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, assisting with carpentry tasks, and managing fiberglass structures. Candidates should have experience in ship repair or carpentry, possess strong skills in blueprint reading, and be familiar with Power tools. A high school diploma and vocational training related to carpentry are required, along with the ability to pass medical screenings.

Formación

• Three years of experience as a Shipwright in Naval Ship Repair or commercial shipyards.
• Familiar with U.S. Navy ships and commercial vessel structures.
• Must pass overseas medical screening.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vessels and equipment.
• Assist in carpentry tasks and repairs of various structures.
• Erect scaffolding for work above ground level.
