Job Specifics:
  • This role is fully onsite and requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
  • Analyze and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity, meeting business objectives across all shifts.
  • Support and lead a team, handle administrative tasks, and foster a strong team culture.
  • Analyze performance data and suggest process improvements to optimize work and enhance customer service.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvements in areas like health, safety, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
A Day in the Life:

You’ll work shifts at one of our operational sites, focusing on maintaining safety standards and process efficiency. Your daily tasks will include managing your team, handling escalations, working on process improvements, and contingency planning. Collaborating with colleagues and external partners to meet customer demands will be integral, involving data analysis and technical discussions with engineers.

About the Team:

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) manages last-mile delivery in partnership with third-party providers. We aim to deliver a smooth customer experience and innovate in delivery services, including Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants. Our operations run 24/7, with teams working overnight and through the night, focusing on processing and dispatching products and supporting delivery drivers, including Amazon Flex contractors. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint through innovative vehicles and technology.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with managerial responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of direct management experience.
  • Intermediate-Advanced English (B2+).
  • Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage KPIs and drive results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field.
  • Logistics background from operations, preferably from First-Middle Mile operations.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1+).
