About the position:

As a SharePoint Power Platform Developer at NOV, you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative solutions that drive digital transformation across our organization. You'll join our dynamic team where your expertise in Microsoft SharePoint, Power Platform, and modern development technologies will directly impact how our business operates and evolves.

In this role, you'll architect and develop scalable, enterprise-grade applications that solve complex business challenges using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. You'll have the opportunity to leverage your technical creativity to build solutions that enhance productivity, automate processes, and create seamless user experiences across our global organization.

Your deep understanding of SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and modern web development practices will be crucial as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into elegant technical solutions. As a technical leader, you'll help establish best practices, mentor team members, and drive innovation in our development approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Development:

• Create custom SharePoint solutions including web parts, content types, and site templates
• Design and implement secure integrations between Power Platform, SharePoint, Dataverse, and third-party applications
• Develop reusable components and maintain code libraries using modern development practices
• Configure and optimize SharePoint Modern Search to enhance user experience
• Build and maintain scalable web services for SharePoint and Office 365 consumption

Technical Leadership:

• Drive best practices for solution architecture and development
• Manage Power Platform environments and maintain security standards
• Stay current with Microsoft technology updates and implement new features strategically
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on complex solutions
• Maintain and update the Power Platform CoE Toolkit
• Advise on systems integration, compatibility, and scalability across multiple platforms

Business Process Optimization:

• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Automate business processes using Power Automate, Azure Runbooks, and Nintex
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and functional design documents
• Provide user training and solution demonstrations
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions
• Support testing and debugging of custom solutions and components

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing sophisticated Microsoft Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and complex Power Automate solutions
• 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise-level business information systems integration and custom application development
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Fx and SharePoint Online development
• Proven experience with version control systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps) and modern development practices
• Strong technical background in web services integration using XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST APIs
• Proficiency in modern web development technologies including Typescript, React.JS, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS frameworks
• Solid experience with C# and .NET Framework development
• Enterprise-scale solution development experience using SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Experience with O365 Office Graph API and Microsoft 365 integration patterns
• Strong background in enterprise authentication technologies (Active Directory, ADFS, SAML, SSO, OAuth)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Demonstrated success working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
