Zurich Capability Center is looking for a highly skilled and proactive SharePoint Developer to join our Digital Workplace team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust SharePoint Online solutions that enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and optimize document and knowledge management across the organization.
The ideal candidate is fluent in modern Microsoft technologies, particularly the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and demonstrates a strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, PnP Framework, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Implement custom web parts, extensions, and site designs aligned with UX/UI best practices and accessibility standards.
- Create seamless integrations between SharePoint and other enterprise platforms using Microsoft Graph API, Azure Logic Apps, and RESTful services.
- Lead migration initiatives from legacy SharePoint environments to the Microsoft 365 cloud.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in SharePoint governance, permission structures, and compliance features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT architects, and project stakeholders, to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Draft comprehensive documentation including solution architecture, deployment guides, and user manuals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SharePoint development, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online (Modern Experience).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure Active Directory.
- Proficiency in modern development and deployment tools, including Visual Studio Code, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, and metadata strategies within SharePoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (C1+ level or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Microsoft Certifications such as MS-600 (Power Platform Developer) or PL-400.
- Experience in enterprise-grade SharePoint migrations using tools like ShareGate or Metalogix.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
